Datamatx is located inside I-285 at I-85 in northeast Atlanta and has additional facilities in Richmond, VA, and Phoenix, AZ.
We are seeking a Variable Document Composition Programmer for our Atlanta, GA office that combines the position of a developer, document designer, and process specialist.
Summary: Writes, analyzes, and modifies computer programs to increase efficiency and adapt to new requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Aids in the design, development, implementation, testing, and deployment of various automated integration and data synchronization capabilities and processes used to fully automate variable document applications.
- Effectively manage multiple, time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment
- Systems include: Visual Basic, Visual Studio, SQL, Opentext Exstream, (Quadient Inspire) and various Postal Presort software systems, PDF Text-Extraction and proprietary manipulation software as well as Internal and client-facing information management systems/portals.
- Create Document templates in OpenText Exstream Dialogue composition tool for output to digital production printing devices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of projects
- Perform Quality Assurance checks for all work
- Collaborate and train with other departments and functions to achieve creative and efficient solutions to client objectives
- Interface directly with the clients you support

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field from a four-year college or university; and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
